NEW RELEASE SERVES AS TITLE TRACK OFF THEIR MUCH-ANTICIPATED ALBUM, HOLD MY BEER, VOL. 2, OUT MAY 8. DEBUTING ACOUSTIC VIDEO SERIES, “WATCH THIS WEDNESDAYS,” ON APRIL 1.
NASHVILLE, TENN. (March 27, 2020) — Country mainstays RANDY ROGERS and WADE BOWENprove that good friends and bad decisions really do go hand in hand with their brand-new, rowdy tune, “Hold My Beer” – out today.
Written by Rogers, Bowen and Jim Beavers and serving as the title track off the duo’s highly-anticipated studio album, HOLD MY BEER, VOL. 2 (dropping 5/8), the party-starting tune takes fans on a trip down memory lane, bringing the pair’s decades-long friendship to center stage. From having each other’s backs in a bar fight to betting on the success of pickup lines, Rogers and Bowen share hilarious stories from their past – all of which result in one asking the other to “Hold My Beer.”
“Wade and I have lived through some crazy moments in life together,” says Rogers. “Of course, there are some we can’t recall – or maybe we just don’t want to – but we’ve got hours’ worth of stories we could tell. This song lays out a few of those stories – at least, this is how we remember them.”

“Hold My Beer” echoes the classic Country sound and clever comedic tone that fans experienced with their previous release, “Rodeo Clown” – both of which are immediately available upon pre-order of HOLD MY BEER, VOL. 2. Physical presale bundles are also up for purchase starting today onwww.randyandwade.com and include autographed copies of the album.
But the fun doesn’t stop there – wanting to share even more new music with fans in the weeks leading up to their album release, Rogers and Bowen have lined up a weekly video series, which kicks off on April 1, with new installments going up every Wednesday across the Hold My Beer social platforms. Aptly dubbed “Watch This Wednesday,” the series will feature the pair, as they preview never-before-heard songs from HOLD MY BEER, VOL. 2 in a live, acoustic setting.
“‘Watch This Wednesday’ is the perfect chance for people to get a glimpse into the upcoming album,” says Bowen. “We can’t wait for everyone to hear these new songs, but even more importantly, hear the stories behind them.”
Rogers and Bowen have more surprises on tap in the coming weeks, so be sure to keep up with the latest news on the pair’s Hold My Beer movement at www.randyandwade.com.
